How to Design a Custom Girls Weekend T-Shirt with AI

Matching shirts can give a trip, birthday, or bachelorette weekend a shared theme. Agree on one artwork idea before creating it, then check the names, dates, and sizes with your group. Smizzy creates front-print shirt artwork from your description; you review the preview before ordering.

1. Agree on the artwork and exact wording

Pick a destination or shared memory, a few meaningful objects, and the colors you want. Keep the main idea clear rather than trying to include every activity on the itinerary. Confirm spelling, punctuation, and the year before writing your prompt.

Enter your idea in "What should be printed on your shirt?" in the T-shirt generator. Put the wording in quotation marks. If each person needs a different name, create and review each wording variation separately; changing size does not personalize the text.

2. Choose a shirt color and optional art direction

Select a shirt color that works for the group. Open "Add an art direction" if you want a preset such as Feminine, 70s Psychedelic, or Vintage Comic. Use the additional styles button to see more options, or enter your own direction in "Or describe a style." The direction guides the result; it does not guarantee a particular arrangement or palette.

Select "Create my shirt preview." Guest options, available credits, and any sign-in prompt appear in the generator. Inspect every letter and number, the artwork edges, and the contrast against the shirt before moving on.

3. Refine, save, and get everyone's approval

Use "Make an edit" for one specific request, such as "Make the boots blue; keep the wording unchanged." Choose "Update shirt preview" and review the whole result again. AI edits can change details beyond the request and use the credit amount shown. Use "Start over" for a new concept, saving a version you want to keep first.

Choose "Save design." Guest saves stay in that browser; sign in to sync them across devices. To share, sign in and use the share icon on the design in "Saved shirts." Send that preview to your group for review. Recipients need to sign in to save their own copy.

4. Choose sizes and quantities before checkout

On the finished preview, choose an available size and quantity. Add the same approved artwork again with another size for other group members. Check every cart line, the current availability, shipping charge, and final total before paying.
